North Carolina Superior Court Alamance County Before the clerk In the matter of the last will and testament of Henry Trolinger Artelia Trolinger being duly sworn deposes and says: that she is a daughter of Henry Trolinger deceased and that she is fifty four years old, that she knows the handwriting of her father Henry Trolinger having often seen him write; that a paper writing now shown her bearing date of February 3rd 1874 purporting to be the last will and testament of said Henry Trolinger to which appears as subscribing witnesses the names of A. Murray and John W. McCauley and signed by Henry Trolinger aforesaid that the signatures of said Henry Trolinger to said proper handwriting is in his own proper hand writing and is his genuine signature as deponent verily believes. that-said proper handwriting was put in a drawer at the said home of said testator with his other valuable papers when it was executed in 1874 and there was sic after his death in 1899: that deponent lived in the same house with her father all her life and knows where his valuable papers including said paper writing purporting to be his will were kept. Parker as his being a former Sheriff of Alamance County and an attorney and knew the hand writing of Henry. The signature of A. Murray as a subscribing witness is genuine. Will of Henry Trollinger In the name of God Amen. I Henry Trollinger of the County of Alamance and state of North Carolina being of sound mind and bequest this my last will and testiment. In the first place it is my will and desire that my just debts be paid out of the first money that comes into the hands of my executor to be here in after named. In the second place it is my will and desire that the whole of my estate both real and personal be placed into the hands and (illegible) of my son in law Benjamin McAdams in trust for the benefit of my two daughters Barbara and Artelia F. Trollinger their natural and single life. Should either or both of my daughters marry then their interest in this my last will ceases. At their death or marriage all of my estate that may be found in their possession of my daughters directly or indirectly I will it to my grand daughter Catherine M. Trollinger and heirs of her body. If my son in law Benjamin McAdams in whose hands I place my property in trust for the benefit of my daughters and grand daughter should think proper to sell my late residence and interest the proceeds otherwise for their benefit. I will and bequeath unto him the sole power to make and confirm right and title in for (illegible) to the person who will give the most money for my bonded estated, provided my two daughter consent in the sale. In the third place I constitute my son in law Benjamin McAdams the sole executor to this my last will and testament revoking and making void former wills and making this my last will and testament. Presnell St., Asheboro, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at his home surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, August 10, at Central United Methodist Church with Dr. Mark J. Key officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Trollinger was a native of Randolph County, one of six children born to Henry R. and Ellen Brown Trollinger. He attended NC State University, was a graduate of High Point University and was a World War II Navy veteran serving on the USS Merriweather. Mr. Trollinger co-founded H.R. Trollinger and Sons Real Estate in 1949, was the 86th person in North Carolina to receive his realtor license and was the first to receive Realtor of the Year from the Asheboro/Randolph Board of Realtors. In 2000, he was honored by the National Association of Realtors for 51 years of dedicated service. Mr. Trollinger was a long time member of Central United Methodist Church, serving as treasurer of the building fund, a lay leader, taught the High School Sunday School class and served on the Young Life Board of Asheboro. He formerly served on the Asheboro City Council, was a city board member and was on the Board of Directors with Planters National Bank. Mr. Trollinger was an officer of the Randolph Area Mission Society, founding board member of Girls Haven, served on the Salvation Army board, former Jaycee, Rotarian, Little League and Little League All-star baseball coach. He was an Indian Guide Leader and assisted with Boy Scout Troop #524 at First Baptist Church. Mr. Trollinger was a man of prayer with a heart for evangelism, organizing and participating in mission building trips to Orlando, Fla., and Jamaica. He was a much loved dad, grandfather, brother, mentor, employer and friend. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Stewart Trollinger; daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Heath McCaskill of Asheboro; sons and daughters-in-law, Henry and Patti Trollinger of Randleman, Tom and Karen Trollinger of Asheboro; grandchildren, Caroline Trollinger of Asheboro, Lindsey and Lauren Trollinger of Greensboro, Rebekah and Matthew Needham of Asheboro, Madison McCaskill of Asheboro, Max and Jack Trollinger of Randleman; great grandchildren, Hunter Wilson and Cameron Norton of Asheboro; sisters, Betty Sheets of Asheboro, Sara Trollinger of Orlando, Fla., Jane Chambers of Seymour, Conn.; brothers, Paul Trollinger of Star and James Trollinger of Charlotte.
