Caroline Caldwell DROLLINGER
Mrs. Caroline L. Drollinger, 82, died at the home of her son, Oliverin Sterling, Thursday morning, August 14 1947, after an illness ofonly a few months. She was the daughter of Almira Booe Caldwell andAbraham Caldwell was born in old Kentuck neighborhood about 3 mileswest of Veedersburg May 31 1865. She was the last of a family oftwelve children. She was united in marriage to Webster Drollinger in1885. A member of the Scotts Prairie church and a life long residentof this community. She is survived by eight children, three sons -Cade, Oliver and Harry Drollinger of Veedersburg, Five daughters -Ruth Orme and Magdolene Jones, Danville, Illinois, Myra Bowers ofIndianapolis, Velma chapman, Bloomingdale and Avenelle Sanders ofKingman. Caroline Drollinger Dies at Veedersburg- Veedersburg, August 14.- Mrs. Caroline Drollinger, 83, life-long resident of Fountain County, died at her home here at 11 o'clock Thursday morning, after a six months illness due to infirmities of age. Born near Covington, May 31, 1864, Mrs. Drollinger was the daughter of Abraham Caldwell and Elmiria Booe Caldwell. She was the last survivor of a family of 12 children. Mrs. Drollinger's husband, Webster Drollinger, preceded her in death. Mrs. Drollinger was a member of the Scott's Prairie Christian Church. Surviving are three sons and five daughters. The sons, all of whom reside in Veedersburg, are Cade Drollinger, Oliver Drollinger, and Harry Drollinger. Surviving daughters are Mrs. Ruth Orme and Mrs. Magdelene Jones, both of Danville, Illinois; Mrs. Myra Bowers of Indianapolis; Mrs. Velma Chapman of Bloomingdale, and Mrs. Avanelle Sanders, of Kingman. The body is at the Fishero Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements were incomplete Thursday afternoon.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 21, 1998 at Wasson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Luke CHURCH officiating. Burial followed in Bell Cemetery.
