He was born in Cedarview, Utah on April 20,1925 to Pearletta and German Buchanan Workman. Ken was an exceptional basketball player for North Cache High where he graduated in 1943. He attended a dance where he met the love of his life, Pearl Drollinger, before shipping off to the Marines where he served in World War II from 1943-1946. While on leave in San Francisco, Ken and Pearl found each other once again and the rest was history. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 1945 and had two children, Connie and Gil. Ken's passions were hunting, fishing and the Utah Jazz. He enjoyed the camaraderie he shared with his buddies and loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed taking road trips in the camper with family and friends. He taught his children and grandchildren how to fish and he especially enjoyed teaching his grandchildren how to drive. Ken was the first person called when someone was in trouble. You could always count on his help, even if you were a stranger. He worked at AMOCO Oil Refinery as a lab technician for 37 years where he retired at the age of 57. He is survived by his wife Pearl Drollinger Workman, sister Carolyn Kelsey, daughter Connie (Gary) Lindsay, son Gil (Lori) Workman, eight Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren.
