7358 I11743  Dennon  Josephine "Josie" Mae  17 Sep 1887  7 Jun 1972  Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon for Mrs. Ross D. Druliner Sr., who expired at the Dundy County Hospital on Wednesday at the age of 84 years. She had been in poor health for many months.

Services were held at the Benkelman United Methodist Church with the Rev. Allan Martin and Rev. Homer Clements officiating. Gwen Bauer was the organist and LaNeta Anderson the soloist. Casket bearers were Don Anderson, Gaile Dunn, Lee Gallatin, Jack Maring, Royce Anderson and Ray Buffington. Honorary pallbearers were Jacob Bauer, Harry Ough, Frank Weiss, John Baer, Harold Barnes, Don Carroll, Tom Ballard and E. F. Ham. Interment was in the Benkelman Cemetery.

Josephine May Druliner was born September 17, 1887 in Dundy County, the daughter of Jacob William and Clara Reinhard Dennon. She was married to Ross D. Druliner at Alma, Nebraska on January 1, 1908.

She was a member of the Benkelman United Methodist Church and the WSCS and was a charter member of Holly Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a Gold Star Mother and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Ross D. Druliner, Sr.; two sons, Ross D. Druliner, Jr., of Benkelman and Jerome A. Druliner, Lincoln; three daughters, Mrs. Elaine Ehresmann, Riverside, Calif., Mrs. Shirley O'Conner, Denver and Mrs. Bernice Gorthy, St. Francis, Kansas; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred and Earl Dennon of Alliance and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Stillwell, Omaha. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Frances, who died of scarlet fever and a son, Glenn, who lost his life while serving as a Navy pilot in World War.

Harris E. Meyer

Harris E. Meyer, 85, Stevens Point, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at St.Michael's Hospital. He had been in ill health for the past couple ofyears.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at noon Friday at theShuda-Plover Family Funeral Home in Plover. Burial will be in theVeterans Memorial Cemetery in King.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Friday until theservices.

A contribution to a Ronald McDonald House or to Ministry Home Care -Hospice Services of Portage County is appreciated in lieu of flowersand cards as per his wishes.

Mr. Meyer was born Feb. 8, 1921, in Ridgeland, a son of the lateWilliam and Amelia (Kottke) Meyer. He grew up and attended schools inRidgeland.

He entered the United States Army on July 22, 1942, in Milwaukee. Heserved as a radio repairman Tech 4 and earned the Good Conduct Medal,Victory Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon, SixOverseas Service Bars and one service stripe. He was honorablydischarged Nov. 24, 1945, from Fort Sheridan, Ill.

Upon his return from the Army, he began working for the Soo LineRailroad as a linesman in Duluth, Minn.

He was married to Mary DeSpiegelaere on April 17, 1956, in Duluth,Minn.

They were transferred to Minneapolis, Minn., and eventually to StevensPoint where he retired from the Soo Line in 1982 as a electronicsengineer.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Cindy (Scott) Drollinger,Karen (Jay) Casey and Rebecca Meyer, all of Portage County; six sons,Scott, Todd (Diane), Eric and Chad, all of Portage County, Lloyd(Jaymie), Menomonee County, and Jason, currently serving in the UnitedStates armed forces; one brother, Bob (Betty); two sisters, MildredSeval and Iris (Jerome) Timbli; and eight grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Jane Kupp; and onebrother, Clarence.

Linda was commonly known by the nickname "Yo baby." Linda enjoyed fishing and going to the mountains. Surviving with her husband of seven years is her son, Josh Trollinger; grandson, Chase Trollinger, and brother, Marvin Detweiler Jr. Also surviving is stepdaughter, Colleen Kennedy' stepsons, Mark, Brian and Troy Eisenhard, and step-grandchildren Tori, Maddison and Kendall Eisenhard and Cody, Garrette and Hunter Kennedy. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2nd at 11 a.m. at Goodwill Fire Co., 714 E. High Street, Pottstown, with Rev. Wayne A. Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park.
