Hershey Medical Center. He was the son of the late Russell and Bessie Turner Dohner. He was born in Lebanon, Pa., on December 12, 1948. He is the husband of Diane M. (Trullinger) Dohner whom were married on March 26, 1983. Earl worked as an electrician for the past 34 years and was employed at Stoner Electric, Lebanon. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force from April 1968 until April 1974. He enjoyed dinner with his wife, relaxing on the beach, socializing with his friends and playing with his dog Penny. He was affiliated with a variety of organizations. Surviving in addition to his wife Diane are his sisters Denise M. Eiceman and her husband George of Grantville, Elizabeth Zearfoss and her husband James of Schwenksville; and a brother John Haldeman and his wife Ann of Annville; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Thursday, August 23, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. at the Rothermel Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra. A visitation will also be on Friday, August 24, 2007, from 10:30-11:30 at the funeral home followed by a memorial service with the Rev. Samuel D. Fry officiating. Burial will follow at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Lawn Fire Company & Ambulance, PO Box 12, Lawn, PA 17041; or to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.

GATE, Okla. - GATE, Okla. - Philip Dean Donnel, 73, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at his home in Gate, Okla.
He was born July 11, 1936, to James Philip and Mary Catherine (Gillette) Donnel at Topeka. He married Myrna Marie Trullinger on Aug. 26, 1988. She survives.
He was a retired oil refinery worker.
Other survivors include two sons, Chuck Trullinger, Arizona, and Gary Trullinger, North Carolina; three daughters, Jean Ann Donnel and Michelle Donnel, both of Aurora, Colo., and Carmen Gohm, Achworth, Ga.; two brothers, James Donnel, Windsor, Colo., and Delbert Donnel, Arizona; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents; and two sisters, Karolyn Kay Volk and Mary Ella Barrett.
A private memorial service and scattering of the ashes will take place at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Myatt Funeral Home, Box 909, Laverne, OK 73848.

Last Rites Held For Mrs. Katherine Trullinger Mon.
Last rites for Mrs. Katherine Trullinger were held at Saint Joseph church Monday morning at nine o'clock. Rev. Father C. Ernst officiated and Leysons were in charge of arrangements for the services. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers were LeRoy Luchtel, James DeMuth, Peter Diederich of Spirit Lake, Frank Wingert, H. R. Carpenter and Boyd Rehse.
Mrs. Trullinger died at the Fillebrown nursing home in Spirit Lake Friday, June 13 at the age of 76 years. She became a patient at the home about 18 months ago and during that time she suffered from a heart ailment.
Katherine Trullinger was born at Albany, Wisconsin July 19, 1875. Her husband, George Trullinger, died several years ago. They were the parents of three children, Charles of Spencer, Louise of California and Lucille Rogers of Spencer.
The Trullinger family lived west of Milford on a farm for many years. Upon the death of Mr. Trullinger, Mrs. Trullinger moved to Milford and for the past few years, she had made her home with her son, Charles.[end]

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Trullinger, 70, who died at her home here last Friday after several week's illness, were held at Annunciation church Monday morning.
Requiem high mass was conducted by Father Urban O'Rourke of Des Moines.
Interment was in the Coon Rapids cemetery with Lloyd Crinnigan, John Miller, Arnold Vanderloo, John Walsh, John Ferguson and Jack Lynn acting as casket bearers.
Friends from a distance attending the service included Mrs. Edward Gilbert and Mrs. Sunberg of Madrid, Mrs. George Wilt and family of Jefferson and Will Doran of Des Moines.
Mary Alice Doran, daughter of Patrick and Mary Doran, both natives of Ireland, was born at Edgerton, Wisconsin, March 11, 1866. She came to Carroll county, Iowa, in 1876 and has been a resident of this community the past 70 years.
She married Frank Trullinger at Templeton Feb. 13, 1888 and to this union seven children were born; Mrs. George Duncan of Coon Rapids, Len and Ed Trullinger of Des Moines, B. W. Trullinger of Coon Rapids, Mrs. Charles Gilbert of Audubon, Mrs. Don Hilgenberg of Atlantic and Mrs. Alf Hetland of Eau Claire, Wis. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
Her husband died August 27, 1945. Deceased also are a granddaughter and a great granddaughter.
Mrs. Trullinger was a member of Annunciation church, the Catholic Ladies Aid and the Catholic Ladies Bible Study Club.

Jeanette Louise Gilbert-Lantz, granddaughter of Mary Alice Doran is pretty sure that her grandmother died in 1946. Mary's age of "70" as reported in her obit cannot be correct. If it were, she would have died BEFORE her husband, Albert and her own obit states that he died "August 27, 1945". I explained to Jeanette that I thought the newspaper simply made a mistake saying "70" when they probably meant to print '80'. Jeanette's recollection seems to confirm this.
