Born June 3, 1918 in Roosevelt, Utah to Allan E. and Nancy E. Stone Drollinger. Ardy was the fifth child of 13, and the only one to be born in a hospital. Married Don Spencer Strong, June 30, 1945. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, March 1951. Preceded in death by her husband in 1986. She was a faithful and active member of the LDS church who very much enjoyed visiting the sick and elderly in the neighborhood. Her family was always her priority. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren, and was a second mother to Jaime and Jake and would have loved to spend more time with Brad and Matt. She is survived by her children, Randall Strong (Denver), Gary Strong (Memphis), and Carol (Jim) Gee (Salt Lake City); four grandchildren, Jamie (Dustin) Rast (Salt Lake City), Jake Gee (Cincinnati), Bradley and Matthew Strong (Memphis); two sisters, Velma Dart and Pearl (Ken) Workman; two brothers, Dee (Gwen) and Don Drollinger. Ardy was a kind, compassionate and loving woman who cared very much for the welfare of others. She dedicated her life to giving service. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow. Ardy is loved and will be missed. They had 2 sons, Stephen and Wesley, who he loved dearly. Ashley retired from the Air Force in 2002 and returned to Montana to be home with his family. He then met the love of his life, Kay Bradley. Ashley had many hobbies; he loved taking care of their 3 horses with rotational grazing, his pastures were always pristine. Ashley was an avid hiker, enjoyed weightlifting and helping others attain their fitness goals. He loved his rolling pigeons and entered many competitions. He was an enthusiastic world traveler and wondered at the heavens through his telescope. He helped family and friends with chores and building projects. Ashley was preceded in death by his parents Beverly and Wesley, and stepdad Ed Kirk, brothers Wade, Randy, and Marlow; Nephews, Ryan Drollinger and Marlow Moschetti. He is survived by his wife Kay, his sons Stephen (Juliana) and Wesley, and stepchildren Colin Bradley (Kelley) Chelcee Humphrey (Josh) and their children Jeremiah and Brooks, Chauncy Bradley and son Korrin, Brothers Monte Drollinger (Marge), Brian Drollinger (Dawn) and Sister Allison Drollinger (Paul) and numerous nephews nieces aunts and cousins.
