8801 | I2851 | Drollinger | Clarissa "Clarissy" | 21 Feb 1839 | 0 | Her birth name was probably Clarissa which was a popular name in the day. 'Clarissy' was no doubt her affectionate nickname as she was a young child who appears to have died as an infant. Note: Harry Benjamin Drollinger believes that because Clarissy does not show up in the 1880 or later census she may have died between age 2 and 10 years and that she is probably buried in Citizen's Cemetery in Roann near her father's grave site or on the family farm. |

8815 | I5952 | Drollinger | Clella Ruth | 14 Feb 1929 | 21 Oct 2016 | 0 | Clella Ruth Drollinger & Darrell Wilmot Smith had a total of six children according to Clella Ruth (Drollinger) Smith herself on November 1995. Ruth's current number: (801) 544-5713 (living with her daughter, Debbie) From: Robert Fletcher To: David Drollinger Date: Oct 2, 2005 9:36 PM Subject: Drollinger Information Requested Hi David, Sorry this took so long to get to you. I hope this is what you were looking for. I tried to send 2 attachments but the Organizational chart was too big. I'll have to mail this one to you. The attached Excel file has all the information - I think - that you needed for Ruth's family. Please make note that the Excel spread sheet has 3 tabs. One for Ruth's children, the second for Grandchildren and the third one for Great Grandchildren. I had a nice discussion with my mother, Ruth, this afternoon to verify the information about the "nicknames" we had discussed. Here is what she passed on: - Jessie Drollinger was teased extensively about her name and became extra sensitive about it because of all the teasing. The kids use to call her "Jessie James" and other names. She did not have a middle name - the only one in the family that didn't - and could not switch to her middle name. When she was old enough to change her name, she did. She goes by Laverne and hates it when others call her Jessie. - John Drollinger was known by everyone as "Bud". Aunt Delsa (one of Hazel's younger sisters) thought he looked just like a "rose bud" when he was born and the name "Bud" stuck. - Clella Ruth Drollinger was known as Clella all through school up through 9th grade. Teacher's would whine about how to pronounce her name. So when she signed up for 10th grade she made the name change to Ruth and has been known as Ruth ever since. She was always called "Ruthie" at home. She never had a problem being called Clella. Just change to her middle name so others could pronounce her name easier. Mom said she had tried to call you a time or two. But never got anyone to answer. I know she'd love to hear from you. When you get a chance, give her a call - (801) 544-5713. Mom and Dad are living with one of my older sisters - Debbie. So don't be surprised if you get Deb, Dave, Jakob, Darrell or Ruth. You'll have 1 chance in 5 to get Ruth to answer. That's about it and one more item off my long list of things to do. Regards, Kathi |

8818 | I5952 | Drollinger | Clella Ruth | 14 Feb 1929 | 21 Oct 2016 | 0 | I corresponded with Ruth in the early 1980s while I was stationed in Aschaffenberg 1982 to 1985. I'm not sure where she got my address from, possibly "Everton's genealogical helper" a now defunct publication or one of the Augustan Society's publications. I sent her a copy of the Familian Register from Ellmendingen that pleased her no end. It was through her I corresponded with the late Alan Trullinger of Carrington SD. He was a delightful man who worked on his Ds and Ts and whose typewriter couldn't spell. (An inside joke between us) Ruth and I corresponded for a while and she got a lot of data for me from my Ullmann and Vogel lines in Lollar and Mainzlar Hessen. Unfortunately she had the misfortune of running into some health problems that left me hanging on a Johannes Schupp. We did continue to correspond even though she was not able to do further work. 8835 | I14424 | Drollinger | Clyda May (Mae) | 30 Apr 1917 | 5 Oct 1999 | 0 | Her middle is spelled "May" on her birth record and "Mae" in her obituary. Curiously, Lawrence Ray Putman was identified as Clyda Mae (nee) Drollinger's son in her obituary. The same is also true of Clyda's husband, Perley Jensen's obituary. Lawrence is actually the son of Ross Rolland Putman and Lelia Grace Shacklett. Lelia is the daughter of Zulah O. (nee) Drollinger and Joseph Albright Shacklett. Zula is the daughter of Burl Perry Drollinger. Clyda's grandfather is Burl Perry Drollinger, therefore, Clyda and Zulah are neice and aunt respectively. The following is an excerpt from the Thursday, May 23, 1935 issue of the The Flathead Courier: "Marriage Licenses Issued - Marriage licenses were issued last Saturday from the office of Clerk of Court...Perley Jensen and Clyda May Drollinger of Kalispell" |

Intro Co-owner and founder at GC Riley & Company Studied Environmental Plant Science at Missouri State University Went to Pierce City High School Studied at Southwest Baptist University Lives in Springfield, Missouri From Pierce City, Missouri Married to Katelyn Renae Drollinger Started school at Missouri State University 2015 Started new job at GC Riley & Company January 1, 2019 Graduated from Missouri State University November 30, 2108 College - Environmental Plant Science KATELYN AND COLTON July 21, 2018 - Pacific, MO 328 days to go! OUR STORY HOW THEY MET If you asked Colton and Katelyn to tell you how they met, you might end up with two different versions. Colton remembers exactly when he first saw Katelyn... but her story starts a little later. The two both attended Southwest Baptist University, Katelyn was a junior and Colton was a freshman. Katelyn was working on a group project with her friend Alex... Alex just so happened to be engaged to Colton's roommate, Pierce. Pierce and Colton came to visit with Alex, but Katelyn was getting her laptop fixed by an IT guy. . . and Colton (being a man who tends to assume things) thought that guy was Katelyn's boyfriend and like a gentleman he thought he was being, didn't say a word to her. Fast forward a few months, Katelyn and Colton have a mutual friend on Instagram. This friend posted a picture of himself with a few other guys, one who happened to be Colton. Katelyn, saw this picture of Colton and decided to stalk him on social media. When you attend a small private school, it's surprising when you find someone you don't know. Anyways, Katelyn quickly found out that she and Colton shared many of the same interests. They both loved Jesus, sports, and the Saint Louis Cardinals. Colton messaged Katelyn on Facebook and after Katelyn talked to her friend Alex about Colton and realized he was a God-loving, funny, and sweet guy, Katelyn accepted Colton's offer to hangout and go on a date. Colton and Katelyn went on a walk and to Andy's on their first date. Then on March 20th, 2016, when the two were at the top of Tower 21, Colton asked Katelyn to be his girlfriend... and of course, she said yes! Since then, Katelyn and Colton have loved traveling, adventuring, and serving the Lord together. In November of 2016, Colton and Katelyn became fur-parents to a Dalmatian named Krypto. He has kept the couple busy and entertained since then! For their entire lives up to this point, Colton and Katelyn have been praying for the Lord to send them each a spouse who loves the Lord and serves others. Shortly after they met each other, they both realized that God had answered their prayers. They began to talk of getting married and spending the rest of their lives together. On June 26th, 2017, Colton asked Katelyn to marry him, in a way that every girl would dream of. Colton, along with 12 wedding vendors, helped to make this surprise fairytale proposal become a reality. Katelyn and Colton are so excited to share the story of how the incredible and unforgettable day happened and would love for you to head over to this website for more details on the surprise proposal! To see an amazing and touching recap of the proposal, click here for a sneak pic video! Colton and Katelyn are so excited to start this new journey in their relationship as they become ONE (Mark 10:8) . July 21st, 2018 cannot come soon enough! July 21st isn't just any ole' date. Grandpa Wilson was an extraordinary man who loved the Lord more than anything, humbled himself, and always shared Christ's love and message with others. Katelyn and so many others have been impacted by Joe's love and faith. Though he won't be physically present on this special day, his love, legacy, and spirit is always felt. Katelyn chose July 21st as a way to honor and celebrate the life of her Grandpa Wilson. Though Colton and Joe never met, Katelyn knows her grandpa would have definitely approved of the "Bo" as he liked to say. Pa's favorite verse: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 Papa Joe Wilson : July 21st, 1945 - June 10th, 2012 |
